SUPERMASSIVE BLACK HOLES: UNCOVERING THE INVISIBLE

  • Synopsis: Leading scientists in observational and theoretical studies of black holes and galaxies, industrial experts in cutting-edge big technologies, and professionals in science dissemination have been brought together to set up research projects which will combine the latest state-of-the-art observations, numerical simulations and innovative analytic tools to compare theory with observation, and shed light on the physics of black hole formation in the context of galaxy evolution. This planetarium show presents the environments of the black holes in an impressive and understandable way to the audience.

  • Synopsis: The inspiration for Stardust comes from the experience evoked by being together in public spaces. It’s an immersive audio-visual experience best partaken in groups, verging on the idea that empathy, both in communal and personal contexts, can pave the path towards a more expansive transformation.

  • Synopsis: Through the dome immersion, Totale recreates the unique experience of observing a total solar eclipse. Seeing the sky darken and being under daytime stars is a deeply moving experience that leaves no one indifferent. It's one of nature's most beautiful and emotional spectacles. With 360° images, the film initiates a quest for the total eclipse where anticipation is at its peak, leading us to a perfect alignment between the Sun, the Moon, and ourselves.

  • Synopsis:  Cosmic Rhythms is a groundbreaking collaboration between Action Lines Media, The Joffrey Ballet, and the Adler Planetarium, taking audiences on a mesmerizing journey through the cosmos with breathtaking imagery, bold choreography, and the expertise of Adler astronomers.
